Why is DUST Different?

DUST is new to planters and the industry.  How is it different?  It’s a protein made 100 percent from soybeans. The picture attached to this posting shows the shape of the product under a microscope.  This shape helps seeds move and slide more, acting like ball bearings and having far fewer jagged edges than competitive items that are ground from the earth.  As it’s a protein it helps with the soil micro-flaura.  We believe this is part of why the extra early plant vigor is exhibited.  We are studying this with the help of The Ohio State University to quantify how much, if any “extra” vigor there is.  DUST also has an extra sodium ion that helps it seek water while in the furrow.

To be clear, DUST is NOT a miracle item.  If you leave it in your planter when it’s raining, you’re going to have less than exciting results, just like the competition.  We recommend you use DUST like it is Graphite/Talc mix.  Contact us at if you have more questions.
